Mon. 28th April 9.00am Mt.Macedon Tour Day tour of magnificent Gardens Turgurium, Glen Rannoch and Tieve Tara. Cost : $45 members, $50 non-members. B.Y.O. Lunch Depart Oval Carpark
Sun. 11th April 11.00am to 4.00pm Mothers Day The Friends Teahouse will be offering a special light lunch in celebration of Mothers Day. The menu will include savoury options plus mouth-watering sweets and our delicious Devonshire Teas, all served in the beautiful surrounds of Geelong Botanic Gardens. Friends Teahouse
Mon. 26th May 10.30am The Chilean Landscape An illustrated talk by traveller and RBG Melbourne Voluntary guide Lynsey Poore. Mon. 28th July 12 noon Annual Winter Lecture & Lunch Speaker Dr. Peter Valder, "Gardens of China" Peter is an eminent botanist, writer, lecturer and television presenter. His interest in gardening has taken him to China, Laos, Indonesia, Malaya and Thailand from which he has introduced many plants suited to the Australian climate. In 1996 he was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in recognition of his contribution to botany and horticulture. Cost: $45 members / $50 non members. Boathouse Cafe, Newtown
