Botanic Art Classes

Botanic Art classes are held at the Friends' Meeting Room. Experienced teachers tutor many students, a number of whom have received recognition at significant botanic art exhibitions both locally and internationally.

Following a very successful year, classes are again offered for 2010.

Botanical Art Classes at Geelong Botanic Gardens

The following classes will be offered for the first term of 2010.

Held each Tuesday from the 2nd of February to the 30th March tutor Rita Parkinson will teach classes for Intermediate and Advanced students.

Held each Friday from the 29th of January to the 26th of March tutor Delores Malloni will conduct classes for Beginner and Intermediate students.

To be held fortnightly on Saturdays between 9:30am and 4:30pm tutor John Pastoriza-Pinol will teach Advanced students, however dates have yet to be confirmed. When details are available this webpage will be updated.

Location : Botanic Gardens Meeting Room/Library - rear of the Botanic Gardens.

Special Workshop - Heritage Trees of Geelong Botanic Gardens

A special 5 day workshop will be held January 2010 from Monday the 18th to Friday the 22nd, between 9:30am to 4:30pm themed around the Heritage Trees of gardens. The tutors for this special workshop event will be Rita Parkinson and Delores Malloni.

Cost : $275 FGBG members / $300 non-members
